The Southern Brooks Community Partnership promotes building community spirit through Community development, working with local people to help them identify issues that concern them and to find local answers to local issues.The Aztec Hotel & Spa supports the development of various groups within the community by providing basic Food Hygiene training organised through the partnership.Living Landmarks ProjectFunded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the project has created a total of 30 permanent visual and text plaques, which mark important places in the community. One of these being at Lodgeonthepark.com, part of the Aztec Hotel & Spa, marking the site of the old farm buildings that were on the site, prior to the Aztec West Business Park.Our very own Starbucks café, found within Lodgeonthepark.com, helps the community by operating 'Starbus' - supplying free coffee to workers waiting on the bus stops as well as working with local schools in a clean up campaign organised by Bradley Stoke Town Council.Website: www.sbcommunitypartnership.org.uk
The hotel is working in partnership with the Willow Brook Centre in an effort to create a meeting place to help build the community atmosphere in Bradley Stoke.We also support our local children’s football club - Bradley Stoke United. Destination Bristol is the destination management organisation for Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
